Configure
Which rigid board material should I choose?
Each board has different strengths. Foamex is a versatile all-round signage material, Corriboard is lightweight and economical, Dibond offers excellent rigidity and outdoor durability, Reboard is ideal for lightweight structural displays, while Acrylic and Polycarbonate provide premium options for specialist applications.
What is the difference between direct print and vinyl mounted graphics?
Direct print applies the image straight onto the board for a clean, cost-effective finish. Vinyl mounted graphics use a separately printed self-adhesive vinyl applied to the board and can also be laminated for additional protection, durability, and a more premium finish.
Can rigid boards be used outdoors?
Yes, selected materials such as Dibond, Foamex, Corriboard, and Polycarbonate are suitable for outdoor applications. Suitability depends on the board type, thickness, installation method, and expected exposure, so check the individual product specification before ordering.
What finishing options are available?
Depending on the material, boards can be contour cut, drilled, routed, shaped, or supplied with mounting holes and other finishing options to suit the final installation.
What artwork should I supply?
Download the artwork template for your chosen product from our Design Guidelines. Each template includes the correct dimensions, bleed, and safe areas to make artwork preparation simple. If you need assistance, our studio team is always happy to help.
Can I order custom sizes and shapes?
Yes. Rigid boards can be produced in a wide range of custom sizes and, depending on the material, can also be cut to bespoke shapes for signage, point-of-sale, exhibition, and display applications.
Do I need lamination?
Lamination is recommended where additional protection from scratching, handling, moisture, or UV exposure is required. For many short-term indoor applications, direct print without lamination may be more than sufficient.
How should rigid boards be stored?
Store boards flat in a clean, dry environment and avoid placing heavy objects on top of them. Larger or thinner boards should be properly supported to prevent bending, bowing, or damage before installation.
